Midas in October 2026 Recap

Midas in October 2026 Recap

October ended with Midas' biggest week yet: more than $120M in inflows, led by more than $80M into @FasanaraCapital's mGLO. Earlier in the month, @Certora finished its security review of the latest Midas smart contract release with no critical or high-severity findings. The Clearing House hosted its second edition in Singapore, mGLO joined @symbioticfi 's Liquid Lane for T+0 exits, and @vaultsfyi launched CARRY, a vault that holds mGLOBAL and mWIN. A new piece explained why mWIN suits the long-term reserves of onchain treasuries. The month also brought new independent research on mGLO, the launch of Midas Verify, and appearances at Stablecoin Summit and Vault Summit.

Here's everything that happened:

I. A record week: $120M+ in inflows

Midas closed the month with its strongest week of inflows so far, at more than $120M. More than $80M went into @FasanaraCapital's mGLO and more than $20M across @hyperithm strategies.

II. Certora security review: no critical or high-severity findings

@Certora completed its security review of the latest Midas smart contract release and found no critical or high-severity issues. The review covered issuance and redemption, cross-chain minting, access control, price feeds and onchain strategy integrations. The newly audited code has also been added to Midas' bug bounty programmes with @cantinasecurity and @sherlockdefi.

III. The Standard Incident Response Protocol in action

On October 29, a potential security incident in the wider market led Midas to activate its Standard Incident Response Protocol. As a precaution, instant redemptions and some new investments were paused. Standard redemptions and pricing kept running the whole time. Midas' smart contracts were not affected. Instant redemptions came back step by step once the team had verified the underlying assets, price oracles and smart contracts. Partners and investors received updates throughout, and mTokens saw net inflows over the same period.

IV. The Clearing House II: Singapore

The second edition of Midas' invite-only event series took place during @Token2049 Singapore, co-hosted with @ApolloCryptoFM and @RockawayX. People from asset management, lending, tokenisation and traditional finance met to talk about how onchain financial markets get built. Next up is The Clearing House III in London: tch.midas.app

V. mWIN: A home for treasury runway

Most onchain treasuries keep their diversified reserves at the very short end of the curve, in tokenised T-bills or money market products. That fits operating capital, but most of a treasury is runway: money held for years and spent down slowly. Our new piece argues that this longer-term part of the reserve is a good fit for mWIN, which is linked to an actively managed, investment-grade fixed income portfolio run by Wellington Management.

The article covers how mWIN is structured. It is issued from a bankruptcy-remote compartment of a Luxembourg securitisation vehicle, with Northern Trust as custodian. It also covers how holders get liquidity: standard and instant redemptions through the Midas Open Liquidity Architecture, or borrowing against mWIN on @Sentora's PYUSD market on @Morpho.

VI. mGLO joins Symbiotic's Liquid Lane

mGLO now has instant, T+0 exits into USDC through @symbioticfi's Liquid Lane, with liquidity from a @kpk_io vault. mF-ONE and mGLOBAL were already on Liquid Lane. Standard redemptions are still available for holders who prefer to wait for a redemption window.

VII. Vault Street launches CARRY with mGLOBAL and mWIN

@Vault_St launched CARRY, its second vault after primeUSD. It pairs leveraged RWA exposure with delta-neutral strategies. The portfolio includes mGLOBAL and mWIN, which are linked to strategies run by @FasanaraCapital and @Wellington_Mgmt.

VIII. mGLOBAL on Theorem × Gearbox

@theorem_markets, a new RWA trading venue, launched on @ethereum mainnet. Its asset pages now show what users can do with an asset in DeFi. For mGLOBAL, users can go straight from Theorem to @GearboxProtocol to open a leveraged position.

IX. Midas Verify launches

Midas Verify lets anyone check whether a Telegram, LinkedIn or X account belongs to a current Midas team member. As a reminder, Midas will never ask for funds, private keys or passwords by DM: midas.app/verify

X. Independent research

@Vault_St published a review of mGLO, which tokenises @FasanaraCapital's Global Diversified Alternative Debt strategy. The review covers the legal structure, portfolio, NAV mechanics, redemption terms and technical stack. Separately, @SentoraHQ looked at leveraged RWA lending positions across DeFi, including mGLO on Morpho (Base).

XI. On the road

🇰🇷 Korea Blockchain Week

Head of Growth @xivankon spoke on stage at @kbwofficial, which brought Midas coverage in the Korean press.

🇸🇬 Stablecoin Summit, Singapore

CEO @DennisMidas spoke at @stblcnsummit about what it will take to bring more traditional assets onchain, with a focus on liquidity and making it easier for investors to get in and out.

🇸🇬 Vault Summit, Singapore

At @Vault__Summit, Dennis joined two panels. The first, "Distribution of Vaults", was with @bnbchain, @RockawayX and @FordefiHQ. The second covered why non-USD lending needs term structures to scale, with @stablewatchHQ, @CapApp and @gauntlet_xyz.
